Basic Weight gain diet for beginners
To gain weight first you have to
understand the concept of weight gain. You must first know the height and
weight of your body. Set a target to gain weight and plan your diet
accordingly. So the diet plan that I have provided is for skinny people who are
looking out for options to gain weight. This diet provides you with the correct
amount of calories that are required to gain weight slowly and steadily.
Breakfast
You have to make a habit of waking up
early. Once you wake up and freshen up, have your breakfast at 8 am. Start your
day with a heavy breakfast. You should eat 1 cup of oats with an equal amount
of milk required. Additionally, three whole eggs and dry fruits should also be
consumed.
Snack 1
Snacks should be consumed at 10 am. This
snack should be consumed in between your breakfast and lunch. You can consume
two boiled sweet potatoes.
Lunch
Have your lunch at 12 am. Your lunch
could include four chapatis with some green leafy vegetables along with one cup
of curd and two whole eggs. This would be enough for lunch.
Snack 2
Snack 2 should be done by 2 pm. This
snack should be consumed in between lunch and dinner. This snack includes a bowl of oats along with
two bananas.
Pre-workout
Pre-workout means the meal that you
should have half an hour before your workout. Have your pre-workout shake at 4
pm. Your pre-workout diet may include a banana shake.
Post workout
Post workout means the meal that you
should have after you are done with your workout. If you are going to the gym
by 4.30 then have your post workout meal at 5.30pm or 5.45pm. Your post-workout
may include protein shake.
Have your dinner at 8.30pm. Your dinner
should consist of chicken salad or veg salad, which includes a whole lot of
green leafy vegetables and boiled potatoes. Additionally, a hundred grams of
white rice with some curry of your choice should also be consumed. End your day
with a glass of milk.
Remember to drink at least five liters
of water every day.
